Yale-Sponsored Entrepreneurs Census: Please participate and let’s get some facts about the entrepreneurial environment…

Good morning, All, and the purpose of the 2010 Entrepreneurs Census is to measure the funding environment, talent base, mentorship, and media coverage available to new ventures in Boston, New York and Silicon Valley in hopes that the public and private leaders in each region will use this information to build on existing strengths and address current deficiencies. So please do take 3-5 minutes minutes of your time to help this not-for-profit effort get some facts and figures and thanks! The link to the survey – and more info – is in the post below.

Speaking of new ventures in Boston, The Northeastern University Entrepreneurs Club 2010 Husky Innovation Challenge Demo Day is this week, April 16, 6-9 pm. The Challenge celebrates the newest student run startups emerging from a semester of boot camps. The HIC is run by student entrepreneurs to help fellow students launch viable businesses. Highlighting the growth of entrepreneurship at Northeastern, the HIC has helped over ten ventures develop ideas and concepts into viable business models and prototypes; Register at http://hicdemoday.eventbrite.com/. Good luck, Huskies, and we want a full report!

Between the HIC and New York Entrepreneur Week this week – busy week!

Still, as always, help is on the way…
