Good morning, All, and yes, it does seem like (almost) every week is Internet Week in NYC, and that only the dates have been changed to deceive the clueless. The link for this one is www.internetweekny.com , and there are two events (at least) of which you should be aware:

Monday: Monday, June 7 “Find a Cofounder” http://findacofounder.eventbrite.com/

7:00 PM on, DROM, 85 Avenue A (between 5th & 6th Streets)

brought to you by Entrepreneurs Roundtable, StartupOneStop.com, Girls in Tech et al: Learn how to start a venture the right way from experienced serial entrepreneurs. And find a co-founder! Startups will pitch their companies to the audience for real-time matching. What is the best way to get started and find a co-founder? Get step-by-step instructions on how to get started and how to find a co-founder. Then there will be 30-second pitches to find cofounders. People will wear green (I am looking for a co-founder) and blue (I am looking to join a startup) badges.

Wednesday: You’re invited to the 3rd Annual TechSet Party during Internet Week NY sponsored by PepsiCo http://bit.ly/akjrkd . It’s being organized by our friend Stephanie Agresta and Brian Solis, author of Engage: The Complete Guide for Brands and Businesses to Build, Cultivate, and Measure Success in the New Web

Not a good idea to wait till the last minute to RSVP.

One more thing: congratulations to Vienna-based list member Hans Posch, whose startup tunesbag.com just received funding and coaching from the INiTS (www.inits.at), the university and city of Vienna-powered incubator. The market for music is gaining traction with investors (investments have nearly doubled in the last two years) and many INiTS incubated companies have gone on to secure larger rounds or close deals with large companies. Tunesbag.com also recently added some new features (http://blog.tunesbag.com/2010/05/enjoy-amazing-artist-images-while.html) and (http://blog.tunesbag.com/2010/05/tell-your-friends-on-facebook-which.html. We’re always happy to report good news from members!

More good news. Yup, help is on the way…
