Good morning, All, and we did urge you to participate, we’re very happy – and proud! – to announce that one of our members, Boston-based zazu.com (they’ve posted today, too) is one of the winning tech startups Pepsico selected for their program, which fosters brand communications innovation. For the announcement and more details about the program: http://bit.ly/9n9feG. And our congratulations to Punit Shah and the zazu.com team.

Startup Weekend was this past weekend and 27 groups presented as many new startup ideas. And the winner is…adoptahacker.com, which makes it easier for hackers from around the country to visit NYC, plug into the tech scene here and find a couch to crash on. Congratulations to Jonathan Wegener and Ben Fisher and thanks, guys, on behalf of (soon-to-be-in-NYC) hackers everywhere.

Speaking of winner, if you’d like to hear – and possibly have a minute or two – with some (other) successful tech entrepreneurs – et al – BizTechDayNYC is coming up September 24, and we’ve got a 20% discount for StartupOneStop.com members who’d like to attend. BizTechDay, an intensive one-day experience where entrepreneurs meet to inspire and be inspired by each other. And hopefully learn from some of the best. Speakers include Scott Heifferman (founder, Meetup), Peter Shankman (founder, HARO), Clay Shirky (Social Media Theorist), Lisa Gansky (founder, Ofoto), and Seth
Godin (Author), to name a few. More information: http://bit.ly/bf3hye and your discount code is SOS! Hope to see you there!

Next, Get Ready to Pitch: Women 2.0 Startup Competition. The competition is open to early-stage ventures around the world, and each startup must have at least one woman on the founding team. Applying companies must be in beta stage and have not received significant funding. Deadline to apply to PITCH is October 1st, 2010. A handful of startups will be chosen to pitch live in San Francisco at the 4th Annual PITCH Night on November 4th, 2010. For more information and to apply: http://www.women2.org/pitch-competition-2010/

Mark your calendars: October 4 is our ‘Find-A-CoFounder III’ and the last barbeque of the season will be October 6, sponsored once again by 1099partners.com. More information on both coming soon.

Two last goodies for you today: if you’re looking for things like insurance, payroll services, HR, employee benefits, etc. or even all of the above for your company/startup, ping me at hello@startuponestop.com. We’ve been approached by some companies and can arrange an SOS discount for you, and every bit helps, what, eh?

And, since it seems there are never enough angels, here’s a new source for you: hackerangels. We kid you not. They’re hackers who are also angel investors and you can find them at hackerangels.com. Or, you can post a brief elevator pitch, which we’re happy to share – and there are investors on our list. Many of them, in fact.

Speaking of posts, yes, it’s that time again and help is on the way…
