Lessons from History and the So-Called ‘New Normal’

At times like these, we have found that in order to see where the world might possibly be going, there is often no better teacher than history. Being in the midst of a “global pandemic,” good to look at what came before.

Often called the “greatest medical holocaust in history,” according to History, “The Spanish flu pandemic of 1918…infected an estimated 500 million people worldwide—about one-third of the planet’s population—and killed an estimated 20 million to 50 million victims, including some 675,000 Americans.”

We don’t see anything close to those number with the Wuhan Flu, even in countries that did not enact ‘shelter/stagnate in place’ policies. The overall numbers in both Sweden, which did not introduce lockdown measures, and Norway, which did, are roughly the same, and the two countries are very similar in terms of overall population.

We’re by no means saying that the virus isn’t real: we’ve had friends who’ve contracted it and some who have lost friends and family members, and we were deeply saddened by their news and are in no way diminishing their loss. What we’re saying is that the threat level, in terms of potentially devastating the entire global population, has been blown way out of proportion, as has the government overreach in some states and countries ((WATCH: ‘Who Are They Going to Believe?’ – UK Cop Threatens to ‘Make Something Up’ to Arrest Man). You can’t buy seeds in Vermont and Michigan? Gardening season is about to hit and nothing like fresh, home-grown vegetables to help keep a body healthy. What to speak of the fact that sunlight/vitamin D3 kills viruses naturally.

Abraham Lincoln said, “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”

The Guardian reported ten years ago that Swine flu ‘could kill millions unless rich nations give £900m’ UN report says pandemic may result in anarchy unless western world pays for antiviral drugs and vaccines. The swine flu did not kill millions, nor did SARS or Covid-19, for that matter. Yet we keep hearing about “The New Normal” and the sudden pressing need – according to Bill Gates – for digital IDs.

IDs are currently required in Communist China. Prior to this, they were required in Nazi Germany.

Tech becoming even more intrusive much?

The Spanish flu disappeared in 1920, and the era that followed was known as the Roaring Twenties. It was a time of great prosperity and possibility – and of flappers and Prohibition, which was, again, overreach by the government in an effort to modify behavior, which led to the rise of organized crime, while personal behavior was criminalized and freedom/choice infringed upon, in the name of the so-called evils/dangers of alcohol, which is now available for sale in every city and small town in America, provided that you don’t live in a state where you have been prohibited from purchasing alcohol, due to the current lockdown.

Has tech really been quiet during this so-called deadly pandemic? Censorship on the platforms is rampant, and who’s deciding what is acceptable?  Facebook ‘Fact Checker’ Worked At Wuhan Biolab; Ruled Out Virus-Leak While ‘Debunking’ Articles. AI Predict(ed) Coronavirus Could Infect 2.5 Billion And Kill 53 Million, we were told, while according to Worldometer, to date, there have been fewer than 200,000 deaths, globally, and the rate is flattening. Speaking of so-called experts, we will also point out that Dr. (Anthony) Fauci claimed in the May 5, 1983 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, that AIDS might be transmissible by “routine close contact” and that ten percent of the HIV/AIDS infected would be heterosexual—more than two and half times the rate – four percent – it actually was (Fauci Fun Facts: Dr. Fauci’s AIDS Predictions were also WAY OFF THE MARK). We would consider him someone whom Nassim Nicholas Taleb would no doubt refer to as IYI – The Intellectual Yet Idiot.

In a world where science and the scientific method have been usurped by scientism, be wary of some of those nouveau ‘ism’ – there are those out there that ism (sic) necessarily accurate or there for the betterment of humanity.

Mark Andreesen penned a piece this week entitled IT’S TIME TO BUILD, noting that “Contrary to conventional wisdom, American manufacturing output is higher than ever, but why has so much manufacturing been offshored to places with cheaper manual labor? We know how to build highly automated factories. We know the enormous number of higher paying jobs we would create to design and build and operate those factories.”

Time for America and the world to start building again.

“The New Normal?” For the record, U.S. Death Rate From All Causes (Including COVID-19) Hit All-Time Lows End of March.

We are no doubt not only at a crossroads, but a watershed moment. The tech cartel has spent years building their nation-states, as we have pointed out in the past, in many instances outside/beyond the control of governments, and we’ve warned you that nation-states they are, make no doubt about it, with unprecedented power and, given the threat of required inoculations, complete with digital tracking/microchipping, at risk of becoming absolutely unstoppable.

Tech is nice to have tech at our fingertips, when we so choose. Other than that, we respectfully request that tech and especially the socials maintain their six-foot social distance. There is absolutely no doubt that the game is afoot. This is no time to be complacent and to allow it to get out of hand.

Onward and forward.
